A passion project that started in 2005 launched the glorious glossy that is Southwall Magazine. After a 12-year hiatus, Southwall came back with a big bang like a sucker punch to the gut as it showcased a resplendent line up of important personages and places in Cebu and beyond for its Maiden Issue.

Today, we bring you Southwall Magazine’s equally impressive and glamorous sophomore edition, The Power Issue that features an ensemble of the most eminent male business and community leaders in the south. Highlights include big-league names such as John and Bunny Pages, Derek Dytian, Henrick Yu, Jason Atherton, Richard Gomez, Leo Locsin, Jr., and their headliner who is no other than the son of Bacolod – Jonathan Lo.

Taking a stage center on the pages of the glossy is this formidable businessman, a force to be reckoned within the sweet industry of delicacies. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the popular pasalubong and delicatessen establishment is the distinguished businessman by the name of Jonathan Lo.

The momentous launching for this highly-anticipated second issue will be a resplendent and ritzy affair held on July 17,2018 at an artist’s enclave in Bacolod City, where a myriad of charismatic and celebrated characters come together, emerging not just from Cebuano origins but also from neighboring cities, in what will be a resounding ebullient and jovial rendezvous.

Playing host to this society bash is Gallery Orange helmed by multi-awarded artist Charlie Co. Guests from the City of Smiles include important personas from the flourishing tourism industry, distinguished government and city officials, leaders from Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI), influencers and prominent names from the media, and Southwall’s dynamic team led by its CEO and publisher Caroline Tan Porras, editorial director Gavin Sanson Bagares, business unit manager Nikki Casino-Oguis, and managing editor Rione Palacios.

As we celebrate in style the sophomore issued that highlights the glitz and glam of The Life of the South, the noteworthy luminaries featured in the magazine will be shining under the spotlight for this red-letter affair, Guests of this event will be fortunate enough to converge with accomplished personages who come from different walk of life. From the different islands of the Philippines, who have gained popularity in their respective fields of cuisine, governance, commerce, and many more.

Southwall Magazine’s emergence in the southern scene is made even more luminous with its Power Issue featuring a league of extraordinary gentlemen top-billed by no less than Bacolod’s rising star, businessman nonpareil Jonathan Lo.
